The Infant Travel Edit

I’ve traveled with my little one since she was 4 months old and after visiting 9 countries before she turned 2, these are my go-to packing essentials when traveling with a baby. I've done the trial and error so you don't have to. Check out my “Toddler Travel Essentials” for when your little one hits the 1 year mark.

Be sure to add these items to your packing list. Links included below!

The Doona is hands down my favorite and most used baby item. A car seat and a stroller, it's the most convenient piece of equipment for traveling with an infant. The Doona X is the new generation model now with 3 recline positions. An absolute must have!

Finally a diaper bag that doesn’t scream diaper bag. I love the elegant and clean design on the outside, packed with hidden, hard-working function on the inside. It also fits all the essentials without feeling bulky and has compartments that perfectly organize everything, for all my fellow Type A mamas.

The Carrier: Ergobaby Embrace

I've purchased probably 6 different carriers in search of the perfect one and this is the one I always reached for when traveling with my little one. It's a soft, simple, easy-to-use newborn-ready carrier with lower back support designed for baby's first 12 months. It’s also compact enough that you can roll it up and pack it in your diaper bag or carry-on.

I am all about packing with purpose and strategy, and pre-planning outfits can truly make travel days much smoother. Fold one outfit + diapers per day into each slot of your organizer, and pack it in your suitcase. When you arrive to your destination, hang it up, grab a fit and go.
